• Wear suitable eye protection and gloves where appropriate because gutter debris may fall while cleaning.
• Keep other people, children and pets clear of the area beneath and around the gutter while work is in progress.
• Never use an extension pole or this attachment near overhead electrical cables, power lines or other live electrical equipment.
• Inspect the tool, adjustment joint, threaded connection and extension pole before every use. Do not use cracked, damaged or loose components.
• Make sure the threaded connection and angle adjustment are fully secured before raising the pole.
• Keep both feet on stable ground and avoid overreaching. Move your position rather than forcing the pole sideways.
• Lower the pole before changing the head angle, clearing trapped debris or checking the attachment.
• Do not force the attachment against compacted blockages, fixed gutter brackets, roof hardware or frozen material.
• Ground-level use depends on gutter height, extension-pole length, property layout and safe access. This attachment does not guarantee that a ladder will never be required for every property.
• Stop work during strong wind, thunderstorms, icy conditions or other weather that makes pole handling unsafe.
• Clean and dry the attachment after use and store it away from excessive heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
